Looks like former WBO super bantamweight world champion Daniel Ponce de Leon could make his next ring appearance in March in Chihuahua, Mexico. Ponce de Leon is currently training at the Villa Juarez Avalos Gym in Chihuahua and is waiting for Golden Boy Promotions finalize his next fight and opponent. The probable date for the reappearance of Ponce de Leon is March 14th. He is coming off a fourth round KO of Damian David Marchiano last November in Chihuahua, Mexico. Sources close to Ponce de Leon indicate that after this next fight he will seek a showdown with countryman Rafael Marquez.
