Reynaldo Solorzano, publicist for former world champion Edwin Valero, stated that there has never been talks between Team Hatton and Valero’s team regarding the Venezuelan helping the “Hitman” with sparring, “there has been no conversation regarding the issue, but I don’t think Valero can agree to it since he is getting ready for his bout with Pitalua.”
Valero will resume training in Las Vegas under the watchful eye of Kenny Adams for his upcoming contest on April 4th after returning from Venezuela where he voted in last Sunday’s elections. Valero who is undefeated in 24 professional fights with as many knock outs will be the main event of HBO’s lightweight tournament being held in San Antonio, TX.
