MyBoxingFans takes you behind the scenes as one of boxing’s hottest young junior lightweight prospects, John Molina Jr., of Covina, CA trains for his upcoming fight at the Nokia Theatre on March 27. The fight will be televised on ESPN.

The former multi-sport star recently signed with Goossen Tutor Promotions and enlisted the services of world-renowned trainer Joe Goossen.

The 26-year old undefeated lightweight contender Molina with a record of 15-0, 11 KOs, faced his toughest opponent in his young career at the San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino on November 20th, 2008 against Fernando Lizarraga, who is come forward type fighter who made Molina work for every landed punch, but at the end Molina scored big with 5th round stoppage over Lizarraga due to injury.

Molina continued with his aggressiveness style against Kpakpo Allotey last month when he won a third round KO.  The opponent for his March 27 showdown hasn’t been announced, but be sure MyBoxingFans will keep you updated.
