box_diaz_195Former World Champion Julio Diaz will now square off against Oxnard, California’s Rolando Reyes, who agreed to fight Diaz on the April 4th “Lightweight Lightning” card at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas after Joel Casamayor was forced to withdraw from the bout last week due to an acute lumbar spine sprain that will keep him out of action for six weeks.

Rolando “Pochito” Reyes (30-4-2, 19 KOs ) is one of the rising contenders in the lightweight division and a stiff test for Diaz. 1. Pay for view for this !!

Ugh, Pay for view is for suckers and has done so much to destroy good match making as it goes to the greed of the promoters at the expense of good boxers and boxing fans. There is nothing more that has limited the exposure of boxers who have earned the right for good pay days and exposure to the public. The fans lose, the boxers lose, the sport loses but the greed of the promoters gain.

Please don’t buy into any hype adn SAY NO to pay for view. Hopefully the outrageous 39.95 to 69.95 will not be asked for and it will be shown on cable TV.

Most of the time, the Pay For View fights are the worst anyway.
