The ex champion Ricardo Mayorga of Nicaragua has been added to the list of possible opponents for the pound for pound king in waiting, “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Mayweather has been hinting at a possible return to the squared circle for June 18th in Las Vegas, NV.
It was rumoured that in a trip to Florida on personal business, Mayweather Jr. took adavantage of his trip east to meet with the former undisputed welterweight champion to discuss a possible match up.
But Mayorga is not the first option for Mayweather Jr., Nate Campbell among others are also on the list. Another strong candidate is the lightweight WBA and WBO champion Juan Manuel Marquez.
