Doesn’t it make you wonder why the’re advertising the fight in London and not Mexico despite of Marquez? The media in Los Angeles didn’t get any workouts but London did, go figure.
I just hope this fight lives up to the expectations we have in mind because the last mega fight (Ricky Hatton vs. Manny Pacquiao) was disappointing.

Hey Tijuana…I can understand your frustration. Just because someone offers you money to fight doesn’t really make you a worthy opponent, not saying that Margarito is not worthy. Just only a waste of time. You say Floyd doesn’t put on that much excitement too the standards your watching, I wonder if you really seen him fight. This guys dominates from 125 all the way to 147 winning titles in every single division. for over 10 years. What in the hell do you want from the guy. If haven’t seen excitement then your watching the wrong sport my friend. When Margarito can ever do that maybe Floyd would consider giving him the time of night. Whats wrong with you.

So my friend, to me Floyd is a very talented and fast as hell fighter, but he will never be the best, he will never be the peoples and the entertainer champion only by keeping his record straight and fighting who he wishes to fight at his wishing weight, there are a lot more entertaining and very talented fighters that would give every owns of sweat and blood in his body to entertain us the fans who pay for this sport, fighters who wish they could be making half of much as Floyd makes after being off all this time “retied” .
You keep talking about Pacman being nock down 2 times, how long ago? just look at the list of fighters he has fought, great Champions he has fought, hey if you are so consurn about the last 2 fights erase them my friend, go ahead, go from Diaz and backwards, hell erase Diaz!
Tell me your blind or something because I don’t just only like a boxer because of his nationality or be cause he is from the same place as me, I enjoy and love the sport of boxing and I will always cheer and acknowledge who ever deserves it.

Hey Brown! Everyone knows what happen with Margarito, but before that your buy Floyd was scared of fighting him just like many others were, he did’nt need to prove to the fans who was the best, because he doesn’t came much for the fans just for his “money” in the bank and his unbeaten record.
And how can you say Marquez has no chance? And you can compared the old Pacman with the new one, not because because of the De la Hoya, be there are clear improvements in Pacmans skills.
Like I said I see a very hard fight for Marquez to win but he will always have a chance, you can never count it out.

I personally like Floyd Mayweather jr. because of his speed, being as smart as a snake, and sharp boxing tactics but he is pitted against Juan Manuel Marquez the best counterpuncher in boxing history who is also smart and has a sound boxing capability, i wonder if Mayweather can maintain his pretty boy image after the fight but I am not saying that Marquez will win because Mayweather got the advantage in height , reach and speed and because both are great and deadly fighters but deep in my heart it says that Marquez will win because he is too cautious and deadly. whoever wins the fight Manny Pacquiao is waiting and ready for the challenge who is getting better and better in every heavy fights.

I heard that Oscar tells that JMM will use his jab like ODLH was… Oscar is pretty dumb here – the REACH and the HEIGHT is way too different. PBF will land right hands on JMM, amd Juan would eat all of this without getting anywhere near to Floyd.
But! I heard MILLION times that JMM beats Pacman twice (i think he didn’t). So, if he did that, why everyone screaming bloody murder that PBF is cherry picked him? I never heard an adequate answer to this question.

My friend, who is the best boxer of all times? answer that question and don’t tell me is Floyd, is ALI, Ali had speed, but he also had something else, he didn’t just run and stayed out of danger so he could maintain his clean record and pretty face, that is why Floyd is maybe undefended but there are other fighters out there that people respect and enjoy watching because they are exciting, they will give you back what your paying.
Floyd is very very talented don’t get me wrong, but he always picks fights that are convenient for him, ether a boxer that is on his way down or a weight were he knows he has the clear advantage, this has said before but youtube Floyd talking about not fighting Margarito back then, he doesn’t need to prove who is the best to the people, just to the the fans that like to see him runing around relying only on his speed.
What kind of challenges does Floyd put on any of his fights?
I think I can probably get more excited watching golf than waiting for Floyd to give us the fans of boxing a run for our money. Just imagine the Rocky series with Floyd instead of Stalone were he can run around and keep his pretty face for ever and makes drago fight at 147 pounds, yeah that’s what people love to see.
What I would love to see is Floyd in a fight were he gets knock down and for him to fight his way back and show why he is the best, or maybe for him to prove to everyone why he is the best with out ducking people that poses a treat.
IF he is that good that no one can touch him and he can’t loose he should retire again and stay retired because you have nothing to prove to anyone, well he actually has said he doesn’t need to prove to the fans, but when he needs money he does need us, I wonder how that works.
It’s like Michael Jordan, he could do it all, there was nothing more to prove for him, he retied…..Came back.. did not win like he used to that season, had a challenge, took the challenge and prove why he was and still is the best player to ever play the game.
Floyd will never be that person in boxing until he PROVES to every one why he is the best of the best, until then there will be fighters that will entertain better and give the fans what they want to see.

I admire when ppl say PBF is a boring boxer, Ha! It’s hilarious, it REALLY is! Y is he sooo boring?? Tell me. Because he doesn’t slugg it out w/his opponents? That’s what the UFC is for! His style is an art of science..u can’t knock it if he hasn’t lost! Evidently it WORKS!! It’s called strategy! Real Boxers don’t just slugg it out and WISH 2 land a ko punch. Boxers have multiple techniques, such as Floyd. Floyd can manipulate his opponent and pinpoint where he wants 2 connect w/his punches, or he could stand and exchange punches if necessary! For instance, PBF exchanged blows w/JLC in both fights which he won both fights! He also stood toe-toe w/ Arturo Gatti, Phillip N’dou, Jesus Chavez, Diego Corrales, etc. Just 2 name a few! I admit Floyd may @ times not fight the way the fans expect him too, but that’s y he is still undefeated because he fights @ his pace and does not feed into what ppl think.
It’s a going to be interesting, I think at this weight Floyd has the clear advantage (like he always does on any of his fights, he doesn’t fight if he if it’s a challenge) and I wonder if Marquez can carry his power to this weight, Floyd is going to be the faster one, so there are to many things that favors Floyd and we all know he wont fight to know who is the best, that’s why he picked this weight to fight against Marquez, my hat goes to Marquez for taking this big challenge.
To me that’s what great fighters do, not duck anyone that gives you a risk or challenge and go for then run around the ring not giving the fans what they want to see.
I admire the speed and talent Floyd has, be he should give the fans what they pay for, but we all know he doesn’t give anyone anything not even the fans who are paying just to see a marathon.
That’s why even if he looses JMM for me is much higher up in my list than Pretty boring Floyd, U only wish that he can shut is pretty mouth, but that is going to be a tough one!

Juan Manuel Marquez is a very good fighter, but Floyd Mayweather is a great fighter. I think Floyd is going to surprise people and go for an early knockout in this fight.
