Edwin Valero vs Humberto Soto
September 10, 2009 by Felipe Leon
It was revealed exclusively to SDFights.com and MyBoxingFans.com earlier today that
undefeated WBC lightweight champion Edwin Valero (25-0, 25KO) will be defending his title versus current WBC super featherweight belt holder Humberto “Zorrita” Soto on the undercard of the Cotto-Pacquiao super fight.
Valero of Venezuela finds himself in Tijuana, MX, updating his visa and he stated that in a week he would be on his way to Los Angeles to start his camp. Valero looked fit and relaxed as he enjoyed of a movie in a popular downtown TIjuana cineplex.
Soto (48-7-2, 31KO) is scheduled to face Aristedes Perez (15-0, 8KO) on Sept 15th in Cancun and more than likely his face off with Valero rests on the result of that bout.
More info on this bout as it develops.
