WHAT: Boxing fans in Los Angeles and San Diego will have the chance this weekend to get even closer to the excitement surrounding the anticipated “Number One/Número Uno” fight between Floyd Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez to be held on September 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Just following up from yesterday. Hopefully you had better luck today. How did it go?
Edgar. First off, thank you for the quick reponse and caring that you are providing. This information is true, I was there and was able to speak with the 2 Tecate girls that were representing the event. I was given the coupons and a bottle opener. I asked the girls and a couple workers at the market about the fighters and neither of them knew that they were supposed to attend. One Tecate girl did mention that tomorrow (9/6) she along with 5 other girls were scheduled to be there for another event, so she advised to return then and maybe the fighters will be there, but not for sure. By the way, I enjoy your website and have always found it to be very reliable and resourceful. Keep up the good work and definitely I will try again tomorrow, I will take the advice of Pound4Pound and call first.

I just got off of the phone with Vallarta Supermarket. They didn’t know what I was talking about. So I advise to call first. At $3.35 a gallon of gas and coming from San YsidroI would call first. Go Marquez!!!!!
I left work 3 hours early and drove 80 miles (round trip) up to Escondido from San Ysidro, expecting to meet Victor Ortiz as advertised in this website. I arrived at the advertised market only to get a coupon for $2.00 off Tecate and to find out that no boxers showed to the meet and greet. I plan to travel again on 9/6 because I am a big boxing fan… I hope this time the advertising is correct and I get to meet Victor Ortiz..
