Official: Khan vs. Malignaggi – Klitschko vs. Sosnowski

Golden Boy Promotions issued a press release yesterday notifying the media about a press conference being hosted in London this Friday to officially announce Amir Khan vs. Paulie Malignaggi. The bout is set for May 15 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York which will be televised live on HBO. The fight marks Khan’s United States debut which will take place in the backyard of New York’s Malignaggi.

WBC world heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko will defend his title against European Champion Albert Sosnowski from Poland at the Veltins-Arena Gelsenkirchen, Germany, on May 29.

Not too keen on this one at all, Klitschko should be fighting Haye – now that would be something i’d pull my wallet out for.
Hopefully Klitschko can still make this an entertaining fight.
Sosnowski only has a chance if he can get on the inside – but then judging by his physique, he definitely looks like he prepared himself for this strategy.

This should be an interesting fight, but I think at the end Khan will be the winner, Paulie looked good in the last couple of fights with Diaz because Diaz’s style was perfect for Paulie where he was clearly the faster fighter.
In this fight Khan is the younger hungrier fighter, he’s fast and has decent KO %, this could end in a KO win for Khan, but it should be entertaining one.
