Amir Khan, who had been training at the wild gym with Freddie Roach, was forced to leave the country due to working visa issues and is currently training in Vancouver, Canada where he will continue his training camp for his U.S. debut on May 15th against Paulie Malignaggi at Madison Square Garden.

Paulie Malignaggi will host an open workout for fans and media on May 5 at 3:30PM at the Evolution Boxing Gym (1656 86th Street).

World Boxing Council President Jose Sulaiman, the WBC Board of Governors, and the Federation of Boxing Commissions of Mexico (FECOMBOX) have unanimously agreed not to authorize Mexican boxers to leave the country to fight professionally in Arizona due to Arizona’s new law to crack down on illegal immigration.

WBC/WBA super flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan (34-2-1, 27 KOs) fights again on May 20 taking on Filipino Richard Garcia (21-10-1, 5 KOs) at the Parramatta Leagues Club, Parramatta, Sydney, NSW, Australia.

Today’s official weigh-in for Mayweather vs. Mosley is open to the public. A capacity crowd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena is expected so fans are encouraged to arrive early (doors open at 1PM). Mayweather, Mosley and undercard fighters will step onto the scale around 3PM.

Thats all for now.
