Fighting breaks out during the weigh in for the Amir Khan (L) and Paulie Malignaggi WBA light welterweight title fight on May 14, 2010 in New York, New York.
As Malignaggi sees it, both he and Khan have something to prove.
“He knocked out a bunch of lightweights,” Malignaggi said. “Barrera was a featherweight who moved up in weight and had the age thing. He’s never been in with anybody. I don’t know what the big deal is with Khan.
“… He hasn’t really been tested against a fighter who knows what he’s doing. He has no idea what he’s getting himself into.”
Malignaggi will have a chance to put his fists where his mouth is Saturday on HBO. No one knows how much trouble Paulie Malignaggi will give Amir Khan on Saturday in New York, but will soon find out.

We all know that there will be fans and haters to each in everyone of us but let us not view the fighters of their religion or race. Let us view them with their boxing skills and what they could contribute to the sport we all love.
At first, I was irritated by Paulie’s loud mouth and fu*** trash talking but I was amazed when he showed respect and sportsmanship after the fight. He knew Khan was the better fighter that night. In my perspective, the fight became more interesting to watch because of what Paulie did. After all the commotions during the weigh-in, they had showed respect after the fight. Kudos to both Amir and Paulie! They had showed the fans a great fight!

The ref made a huge mistake when he counted
Pauli’s knock down from a body shot as a slip .
if the was really a competitive one the ref decision could make a different difference .
it was very obvious that Pauli was knock down
I was really stupefied because anyone can tell when a boxer slip and that was not a slip .it’s a knock down from a clean flush body shot .

Malignaggi will win this fight, he’s fought better oppositions then Amir Khan.
I can respect any fighter to a certain extend in winning an olympic metal, its a great tremendous accomplishment. But as a professional stand point you need to maintain that discipline form. Khan has been knocked out before violently, by a journey men not well known. Paulie has lost too 2 known oppositions and he’s never been knocked out, maybe stopped by his corner men but never knocked out.
