Marco Antonio Barrera will return to the ring December 11th in Mexico. Barrera will face Likar Ramos (23-3, 17 KOs) of Colombia in a scheduled 12 round bout for the WBO intercontinental title at junior welterweight. Ramos is the former WBA super featherweight interim champion.

Nate Campbell Returns!

Former unified lightweight titlist Nate Campbell is scheduled to face Walter Estrada (37-13-1, 25 KOs) on the undercard of lightweight champ Juan Manuel Marquez’s defense against Michael Katsidis at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Campbell plans to move back down to the lightweight division, despite previous problems making weight.

Holyfield’s fight postpone again!

Evander Holyfield’s fight against Sherman Williams at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit has been pushed back a second time, to Dec. 9. It was set originally for Nov. 5, and then moved to Nov. 12 while sponsorship and TV negotiations were finalized.

Tavoris is back!

Light heavyweight titlist Tavoris Cloud will make his second defense against Fulgencio Zuniga on Dec. 17. The fight, signed Tuesday and approved by the IBF, will take place on the Don King-promoted card at the American Airlines Arena in Miami. In the main event, 2004 Cuban Olympic gold medalist Odlanier Solis (16-0, 12 KOs) and former title challenger Ray Austin (28-4-4, 18 KOs) meet in a heavyweight title elimination match with the winner becoming the next mandatory challenger for titleholder Vitali Klitschko.
