I’ll pick it up in March….on March 12th your fans will be wearing black for your wake…I see fear in your eyes…look at your hands they are small and my hands are like a man.

“I’m a professional fighter and no one ever wins with their mouth,” stated Cotto “This will be Mayorga’s last fight… You’re a clown and your whole career is a joke!”

  1. Yeah it’s gonna be entertaining all the way to the point when Cotto drops him for the K.O. Got to give credit to Mayorga though for a guy that was inactive for soo long just to talk his way into another big fight. I’d say one the best at running his mouth to get the big name fights.

  2. lol yea bro your right, without the trash taiking Mayorga would just fade away. And yea I got to admit it is entertaining lol cuz I lmao every time I hear this guy run his mouth. We have to give him a little credit I guess lol, because it got him this fight. I cant wait to see Cotto back in action. This should be a good fight. Entertaining if nothing else.

  3. @JAY Yes, I also see where your coming from. What some deem as childish others consider it ENTERTAINMENT!! Now, he certainly isn’t the most eloquent, mature nor classiest pug in the game, that’s for sure, but he doesn’t get paid to be. He’s made a good living being who he is. Although I believe his antics are part of his true nature I’m also convinced that he now exaggerates his “image” more than before because HE HAS TO. His boxing talents have taken him as far as he can go and now doing what HE HAS TO DO to prolong his marketing clout. It’s no doubt that it works and it makes cent$/$en$e. Where would he be without hid “image”? He was a problem child with no education, with a history drugs and gang violence and poverty.

Bottom line, it’s his decision: Get whipped up for peanuts?? OR… get beaten for a nice fat check?? His decision is quite obvious and I believe he’s made the right choice.

By the way…. “The Clown” get’s my respect but… GO COTTO!!

  4. EZ E I understand where your coming from Mayorgas trash talking and all his little antics in and out of the ring is what defines him. That kind of stuff gets him attention and we all know its just a sike game. Its childish and when it comes to the best in the game it just gets him beat up(not too smart). Clowns are intertaining but not glorified lol. Go Cotto!!!!

  5. Well…. Mayorga is who he is, MAYORGA. He’s doing what expected of him. He may seem like a foolish and wild clown, but actually he’s a very SMART clown. ‘Clowns’ are performers, performers that get paid. Mayorga IS a performer, and he continues to get PAID, paid quite well. If Mayorga wasn’t the clown that he truly is then he wouldn’t have gotten the notoriety, coverage, hype, big fights and MONEY that he continually receives, no matter how many of those big fights he usually loses. If Mayorgo wasn’t the ‘clown’ that he is then… this event NEVER would be happening, plain and simple. In this fight Cotto is the CHAMP with the NAME and Mayorga is the ATTRACTION.
