It’s been almost a year since we officially announced Mike Tyson’s new reality show “Taking on Tyson” on the Animal Planet and now in a few days, March 6 at 10PM to be exact, it is about to air.
The show is about racing pigeons and Tyson challenges some of the best pigeon racers in the world. Mike Tyson, former heavyweight champion of the world, the one-time baddest man on the planet, the same guy who once bit his opponent’s ear off and said he wanted to eat an opponent’s children is long gone now. Tyson is just a working stiff who hustles odd jobs to make a living.
I have to warn you, it’s not the same Tyson that probably remember. This Tyson is now gentile and cares about his pigeons.
“Pigeons are the best,” Mike Tyson stated. “Of all the animals I’ve had – tigers, lions, bears – Oh no, none of them are even close to the same league as the birds.”
“I looooooove these things,” he softly says.
Pigeons aren’t the world’s most popular birds but Mike Tyson hopes his new Animal Planet show will change perceptions. So let’s show some support and tune in March 6.
