3 hours south from the Sergio Martinez-Matthew Macklin bout is a great
local card in Atlantic City. At Bally’s, a large group of up and coming East Coast prospects are featured on a great local card. Dennis Hasson, a Philadelphian middleweight is fighting for Glen-Tapiathe second time in 2012 after an empty year in 2011.
At 6’1, Hasson has the height and reach advantages to allow him to be a very successful
middleweight.

Glen Tapia, a rising force at 154 who served as a sparring partner to Manny Pacquaio, faces Antonio Infante. Tapia is strong, powerful, and been seen on undercards of many high profile Top Rank fights.

Jose Peralta Alejo, who fights under the Main Events banner, will get more ring experience. He has already fought once in 2012, with another planned fight in June.

Mikael Zewski, a former Golden Boy athlete, is also featured on the card. Not from the area, Zewski hails from Canada. The light middleweight continues to build his name as he chooses to fight in many venues in different locations. He is smart and decent power.

Although these bouts are overshadowed by the middleweight king Martinez, they are very important in the development of future stars. Support your local boxing scene.
