“PM Promotions has no interest in any of the fighters participating on Friday night, we are only interested in them giving a great fight,” Diego, who is the brother of seven-time world champion Erik “Terrible” Morales, said. “None of these fighters are protected and I congratulate them for taking such challenges so early in their careers.
In the six round junior lightweight main event, Tijuana’s Jesus “Bombardero” Valadez (5-1, 2KOs) will look to continue his very prosperous 2012 when he faces the tough Edgar Vazquez (4-2-1, 2KOs), also of Tijuana. The fight will mark the fifth time that Valadez performs this year, winning all five fights, one by knockout.
“I prepared myself very well for this fight since it is very important for me,” the seventeen year old Valadez stated. “This will be the first time that I am in the main event and I thank Promotions PM for the confidence placed in me.”
For his part, Valadez mentioned that he was ready to ruin the party for Valadez, “I know that ‘Bombardero’ is a good fighter but I am in very good condition and I am going to come out with my hand in the air.”
