This Saturday night in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Roy Jones Jr. in conjunction with TNT Promotions once again brings boxing back to the River Casino with hometown favorite Monty Meza-Clay looking to continue his winning ways against veteran Emmanuel Lucero.
Meza-Clay has not lost since 2009 is on a 4 fight win streak since returning to the ring after a year layoff is slowing building his resume back up in hopes to get another title shot down the line; Saturday he looks to make it five in a row.
Lucero who has been in the ring with Rocky Juarez, Daniel Ponce De Leon and pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao looks to take his veteran knowledge into the ring with him Saturday night.
While Lucero may have the bigger names on his resume, Meza-Clay looks to add his name to the others mentioned as the next fighter to give Lucero another “L” -If Meza- Clay’s history of fighting at home is any indication to what may come Saturday night then Monty and his fans should feel confident that once again he will have his arm raised in victory.
Also on the card are locals “Big Chief” Morgan Fitch and Billy “The Boilermaker” Hutchinson.
Both men bring their fans in bunches and it should be nothing less than an excited and very loud crowd and Lennox Allen vs. Michael Walker, 6 rounds, super middleweights.
4th of July may have passed but this Saturday night expect fireworks down at the Rivers Casino.
Tickets available through Ticket Alternative or Rivers Casino Gift Shop.Live from Rivers Casino Amphitheater, Pittsburgh PA. 1st Bell at 7:30PM.
