Lopez is known for upsetting Victor Ortiz by breaking his Jaw. Maidana, on the other hand, had an up and down time last year. He was sorely outclassed against Devon Alexander last February, losing widely on points. On the Canelo/Lopez undercard, he rebounded to stop Jesus Soto-Karass in eight and a beautiful 3 round KO against Angel Martinez.

Geesh this will be a great match-up posing a lot of possible outcomes. Maidana will stand right in front of Lopez which is exactly what Lopez wants BUT Maidana is another hard puncher, which is exactly what Lopez just got beat up by. Hummmm cant wait to watch!
