Manny Pacquiao has settled his defamation lawsuit against Richard Schaefer and Oscar de la Hoya on confidential terms. In connection with the dismissal, Mr. Schaefer and Mr. De la Hoya made the following statement:
“Richard Schaefer and Oscar de la Hoya, on behalf of themselves and Golden Boy Promotions, wish to make it crystal clear that we never intended to claim that Manny Pacquiao has used or is using any performance enhancing drugs, and further state that we do not have any evidence whatsoever of such use.
Manny Pacquiao is one of the greatest fighters of all time, and we apologize if anyone construed our prior remarks as in any way claiming or even suggesting that Manny uses or has used performance enhancing drugs.”
Pacquiao’s lawsuit, which alleged that beginning in September 2009, Floyd Mayweather, De La Hoya and Schaefer publicly stated that Pacquiao uses performance-enhancing drugs. While the suit against Schaefer and De La Hoya was dropped, Pacquiao’s suit against the Mayweather continues.
Manny Pacquiao for a third time on Nov. 12 will take on Mexico’s Juan Manuel Marquez at a 144-pound catch weight.

great more and more acusaitions of performance inhancing drugs pacman and ortiz and more fighters to me it is a little wierd that pacman didnt want to get tested before and now hes up for it. maybe he stoped using? but when someone says they used to inject you and im talking about former pacman team mate that came out with these acusaitions y not get tested? anyway i think its ridiculous boxing commision should take charge of this situation thats going on in boxing that seams to be bringing boxing down with all these cheaters. i still hope to see alot of good fights this year

Manny is a stand up guy and a legend ,whereas ,pussy boy Floyd is a fake boxer and a scum bag .Floydita keeps harpping on the topic of taking the test and manny has agreed already .Is Floydita a nut case or a coward ?
Interestingly enough read an article a bit ago about Andre Berto accusing Victor Ortiz on twitter of doping now. It’s getting sad with all these unsubstantiated claims coming out since the whole Pacquaio thing, and now Hopkins and Ortiz are getting accused this is becoming a trend that needs to stop immediately. Berto can’t accept the fact that he was beaten fair and square and had to stoop to this level it’s embarrassing he can blame all the soft touches he’s received since having that belt as to why he thought he was supposed to hit Ortiz once with a good shot and that would be it. Even Andre Dirrell’s nobody-brother is chiming in guess he had to get his name out there somehow. What a shame I thought Berto had class guess I was wrong.
Hopefully this is the start to TR and GB starting to work together because as I’ve been hearing things are looking up and finally put this petty feud to an end. I hope it does and we get the best against the best instead of strictly in house ppvs on both sides. They can really revive the sport and give us some great fights so i’m hoping Arum and GB get things sorted out ASAP.
